LIL' PRESSPOT
Still a young man himself, Lil' Presspot (Josh Kimbrough) is a man of many talents. He's an accomplished barista and guitar player who's never been good at doing the same thing over and over; instead he stretches the creative boundaries of what's acceptable in this ever-changing, Pitchfork-run 'indie rock' world. Sufficient Records is happy to finally have him as part of our family!

JESSE ANDERSON AINSLIE
is a guitar hero hailing from Brooklyn, NY by way of Chapel Hill, NC. Jesse played guitar in the critically acclaimed bands Phosphorescent and Virgin Forest before deciding to venture off on his own solo venture, returning to his native home of North Carolina to finish his education in folklore and story telling traditions. A live band is in the works.

R. MUTT
is the new incarnation of John Neville's former project, Spaghetti Western. Neville--most often a drummer in the past--loves a good beat and carefully constructed lyrical sketches. Sometimes oblique in angle, R. Mutt finds its sounds in many places, but hopefully remains unmistakably informed by Neville's home environs in the piedmont of North Carolina.

TONY SCUMBAG
When trying to define the music behind the man, and his many personas (Tony Scumbag, Excitement '96, Professor Longhair's Fanclub, Jeff Hawkins, etc.), it's hard to pinpoint any one, particular influence. The music of Oliver Grey Johnson is crafted using a slew of electronic software. He often works in collaboration with other artists, taking basic tracks and manipulating the original ideas in ways that are hard to believe, leaving them unrecognizable, and often times better than the original songs themselves.

RICK SHAW AND THE RICCADILLY CIRCUS
is the new musical project from Lee Shaw (formerly Greasy Joan). Shaw is a multi-talented songwriter who's been recording for quite some time now, playing each instrument himself and working in the guitar, bass, and drums format that defines good, simple Rock N' Roll. Shaw also fronts the Chapel Hill, NC rock band Vannevar.

Young humanitarian and recent father Heathstroke has been mixing up smooth tunes since the early aughts after meeting up with the mysterious Tony Scumbag and Arctic Cat. Together they formed an alliance through hosting dance parties and intense badminton matches.

PROFESSOR LONGHAIR'S FANCLUB
Grey Johnson and Joe Norkus collaborate via email using Garageband tracks and editing software. Their compositions combine organic instruments (guitar, bass, drums, vocals), with the digital realm (programmed beats, samples, an EWI synth USB wind instrument). Sometimes this amounts to listenable songs and even videos.
